Restoration and Stewardship
The gallery has acquired Les Falaises by Albert LeBourg. It is an impressionist painting of the sea cliffs at Normandy. It is a compelling work but needs care. Whilst the paint is in good shape and not flaking, it has layers of dirt and discolored varnish and has several tears. We intend to properly clean and restore this beautiful work.
